The Woman Clothed with the Sun of Revelation 12 symbolized God’s people, Israel in the Old Testament and the Christian Church in the New Testament. Satan, symbolized by a dragon, persecuted the woman during the 1260 years of the Middle Ages but God protected a remnant who were faithful to Him.
REVELATION 12
In Revelation 12 there is “war in heaven” as Michael casts Satan out of Heaven. He persecutes the Woman (the Church) for 1260 days (Years) but even after great persecution a faithful Remnant remains.
